If no status is listed, the kitten is currently available.
Pending
The kitten is in progress with a potential family but is not yet reserved. “Pending” means steps in our adoption process are still being completed. Availability may change at any time until a signed retainer agreement and funds are received.
A kitten may be listed as Pending in one of the following stages: (In order of the process)
Pending – Phone Interview Needed
An adoption application has been received, and a phone interview still needs to be scheduled.
Pending – Phone Interview Scheduled
The phone interview has been scheduled but has not yet taken place.
Pending – Documentation Pending
The phone interview has been completed. Retainer documentation has been sent, and we are awaiting the signed receipt.
Pending – Retainer Pending
Signed retainer documentation has been received; retainer funds are still outstanding.
Important:
A “Pending” status does not remove the kitten from availability. If you are seriously interested, we encourage you to reach out. Placement is not secured until both the signed retainer agreement and retainer funds have been received and confirmed.
Reserved
A confirmed retainer agreement and funds are on file. The kitten is no longer available and has been officially matched with their dedicated family.
